Introduce yourself

Dear Readers,

I love connecting with people through my blog.  I hope that when you read my blog, you learn something – either about me directly, or indirectly about yourself.   I want this to be a place where people discuss ideas and support each other.  I’m not out to judge anyone.  I know it is hard to be a parent, and all parents strive to do what is best for their kids.   On my blog, I share things that have worked for us, and philosophies that I am passionate about.  You can agree or disagree – both are OK with me.  Take whatever works for you from my blog, and leave the rest behind.

I’d love to learn more about my readers.   If you’ve been lurking for a while, please comment here or perhaps on another post that has caught your attention.  I know I have a variety of readers out there – people who have discovered my blog from a blog carnival, work acquaintances, old high school friends, current friends, friends of my husband, and family members!

So if you’ve been thinking about it – post a comment and introduce yourself!

NaBloPoMo – National Blog Posting Month

I’ve decided to participate in NaBloPoMo – National Blog Posting Month. This means I am going to attempt to publish a blog post each day in November. I’ve been a blog slacker lately and I want that to change!

Sometimes I get in a blog slump and don’t post much. As a mom of two busy boys, it can be hard to find time to sit in front of the computer and write. I can always find some reason why I’m “too busy”.

But am I really “too busy”? No. I can usually find time after the boys go to bed to surf the net or flip channels mindlessly on the TV. So for the month of November I am going to use (some of) that net surfing and TV watching time to blog. I can’t promise that each post will be long or inspirational, but a post will be published daily.
